The Sorø Field-station (Lille Bøgeskov)

The field station at Sorø aims to quantify atmosphere-biosphere exchange of CO₂ and other greenhouse gasses in a 80yr old beech forest.

The field station is linked to major EU projects within climate change, CO₂, nitrogen and greenhouse gasses - e.g. CarboEurope and NitroEurope.

The field station will be part of the Danish participation in ICOS (Integrated Carbon Observation System)
