The Hevesy Laboratory - isotopes, radioactive tracers and nuclear medicine

The Hevesy Laboratory is part of Risø and houses Risø’s cyclotron for the production of isotopes. The laboratory produces isotopes and radioactive tracers for research and medical purposes and conducts research into the development of new radioactive pharmaceuticals. The research focuses in particular on the development of new isotopes, radiochemistry and radiopharmacy. The Hevesy Laboratory has been authorised by the Danish Medicines Agency pursuant to Section 39 of the Danish Medicines Act for the production and marketing of pharmaceuticals. The laboratory works under cGMP.
