Bioprocessing Program

The aim of the Bioenergy and biorefinery program (BIO-REF) is to create new basic knowledge and technologies for sustainable conversion of biomass to bioenergy and high value bioproducts using biorefinery concepts. Our main focus is to increase security of future supply of fuel, food, feed and fiber. The research is based on trans-disciplinary concepts.
