Division research activities

The research activities of the Fuel Cells and Solid State Chemistry Division are focused on advanced functional ceramics. 75% of our manpower is devoted to Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFC) – a technology for efficient and clean conversion of chemical energy into electricity and heat.
