FCH Test Center

FCH Test Center for fuel cell and hydrogen technologies was established in 2010 at Risø DTU in Denmark. The Test Center cooperates with Danish Gas Technology Center (DGC) and supports the industry with:

  • Testing
  • Training
  • Consultancy

--------------------

FCH Test Center
gives the industry within the fuel cell and hydrogen technologies access to large-scale advanced testing and demonstration of components and systems. This is required for the intensified development effort and demonstration phase before a commercial break through of these new important technologies can be realized and the huge market potential can be fulfilled.

The technologies and applications in focus are:

  • Fuel cells and electrolysis
  • SOFC, PEM, HT-PEM and DMFC
  • Micro-CHP, APU and UPS
  • Batteries and solar cells

FCH Test Center is part of the Department of Energy Conversion and Storage at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). The Department has more than 20 years of experience within R&D and testing of solid oxide fuel cells. It is widely acknowledged as one of the world leaders within this field. The Department has 220 employees, of which more than 100 are mainly working on fuel cells and electrolysis.
