End-User Credit for Solar Energy in Indonesia

The project aimed at supporting the initiation of a credit market for solar energy technologies in Indonesia

 

Through local banks, the effort promoted the mainstreaming and commercialisation of lending products for the purchase of solar energy equipment by end users.

The planning phase of the project was jointly implemented by UNEP and UNEP Risoe Centre, with funding from the German Ministry of Environment (BMU). Implementation phase will start after funding is secured
