Objectives

To improve significantly the ability to detect defects and damage in sandwich structures used in naval ships, and to determine whether, when and how repair shall be carried out. The results will be documented in manuals and reports that can be used by the respective participating nations to develop maintenance handbooks for specific vessels or types of vessels. The manuals shall be divided into sections on production control and damage inspection.
