NECC

The Nordic Centre for Studies of Ecosystem Carbon Exchange and its Interactions with the Climate System (NECC) is a virtual Centre consisting of 14 research groups from institutes in Denmark, Iceland, Sweden and Finland.

The NECC is funded by the Nordic Centre of Excellence (NCoE) Pilot Programme from 2003 to 2007. The NCoE was initiated by the Joined Committee of the Nordic Natural Science Research Councils (NOS-N), the Nordic Council of Ministers and the NorFA. Read more at NECC's website.
