BASIC Project

Over 50 models and methodologies, both generic and specific, were reviewed for impact, vulnerability and adaptation assessment. Sectoral specificity of methodologies was also analysed. The strengths and weaknesses of each tool were highlighted.

The results were discussed at workshops in China, India, Brazil and South Africa, and at an IDS-EU workshop in Brussels.
