At Risø’s stand you can learn about aspects of getting electricity customers to respond to fluctuations in electricity prices. It can help to get more renewable energy into the grid.

There will be an opportunity to see how a fuel cell is constructed and how it works. There will also be a opportunity for studying fuel cells in a portable electron microscope.

The many possibilities for using biomass for energy production will be demonstrated by transforming quite ordinary organic waste to new energy in the form of biogas. Moreover, one can see how the 2nd generation biofuel made from plant waste is produced, and you can also see Risø Ford Focus Flexifuel that can run at up to 85% biofuel.

Lastly, the Risø DTU Fusion and Plasma Roadshow will be performed. It is a science show, with exciting, entertaining and illustrative experiments that introduces the audience to the world fusion and plasma research.
