Copenhagen Cleantech Cluster (CCC) has recently been promised support to a project of DKK 143 million which is to be co-financed by EU Structural Funds, the Capital Region and Region Zealand for the next five years. DTU's technical and scientific competences are central points in the project and Risø DTU provides all the relevant research competences at DTU. The purpose of CCC is to help Danish companies create green innovation.

On this occasion, Risø DTU invites you to ”Tour-de-Risø” at Risø in Roskilde on Wednesday 17 March from 13:00 to 18:45 where you can meet DTU scientists from Roskilde and Lyngby. Click here to see a detailed programme

"We look forward to presenting some of our many cleantech and innovation activities. These activities show how natural it is for us to engage ourselves in Copenhagen Cleantech Cluster as DTU's National Laboratory for Sustainable Energy," says Henrik Bindslev, Director at Risø DTU. “Risø sees it as our responsibility that research results are brought into play and that the road from technological, research-based knowledge to growth in existing businesses and start-up businesses is as short as possible. But Cleantech is much more than sustainable energy, and the activities therefore also involve all of DTU. "

The vision is that the cluster becomes world leader in cleantech by working across industries and value chains.

Within a period of 5 years CCC is to increase growth in existing companies that develop green technologies, help start more Danish companies within this field and attract foreign businesses and investors.
