Green Vision organizes panel debate on future energy technologies

The debate will also be about how the educational system can provide researchers to realize these visions.

Energy technology in 20 years. Where will we see most progress, according to the companies? Should research come from companies or from science? Can research become integrated in upper secondary schools?

THEME 2: The need for education. New specialists? New educational methods? More management education?
18.30-18.45: The discussion ends.
18.45-19.00: The press may ask questions and get interviews.
19.00: Dinner in DTU’s canteen.

The Danish Minister for Education Bertel Haarder is going to participate in the panel debate along with representatives from leading companies in the energy sector.

45 secondary school students, who participate in the Green Vision Camp 2009 this week, will ask questions about the situation for energy technologies 20 years from now and about the need for education in this respect.
