Two Risø DTU scientists to be authors of the next IPCC report on renewable energy sources

Every 6-7 years, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, IPCC, publishes its main reports presenting a comprehensive assessment of the global climate situation.

The latest and fourth in the series of reports came in 2007. It was written, among others, by several authors from Risø DTU. In between the major IPCC reports, IPCC brings up selected subjects in special reports like this one on renewable energy titled: "Renewable Energy Sources and Climate Change Mitigation".

The only Danish authors invited are the participating experts from Risø DTU: John Møbjerg Christensen and Peter Hjuler Jensen. John Møbjerg Christensen is Head of the UNEP Risoe Center and Peter Hjuler Jensen is Head of Programme in the Wind Energy Division.
