Meet Risø DTU at COPENMIND in Bella Center

The universities offer a treasury of knowledge and ideas for sustainable technological solutions. At the fair COPENMIND you can gain an insight into this knowledge when 125 universities from all over the world present their exciting exhibitions and conferences.

Risø DTU is going to show some examples of innovation based on our own research: SOFCs, polymer solar cells, a designer chair made of biocomposite materials and a new type of anemometer for wind turbines. Moreover, you can hear about the business cooperation behind the sustainable products.

Conference
On the first day of the fair, Risø DTU is holding an one-hour conference, where new technologies within Risø’s competences will be presented in an inspirational and untraditional way.

• Sustainable energy technologies – challenges and opportunities
• Cooperation between research and the wind turbine industry
• Materials for wind turbine blades
• Superconduction
• Bioethanol – does it have a future?
• Cooperation with the industry on fuel cells
• Perspectives for polymer solar cells

All these topics are presented through words, conversation, images and physical objects ending with a dialogue with the audience. Director Henrik Bindslev, Risø DTU, will be the moderator.
