The government has set up a climate commission consisting of ten scientists who are experts in climate, transport, agriculture and economy. The commission is to make a suggestion on how the government can reach its vision of removing Denmark’s dependence on fossil fuels. The two DTU experts in the commission are senior research specialist and economist Poul Erik Morthorst and economist Niels Buus Kristensen, head of department at DTU Transport. Poul Erik Morthorst is employed at Risø DTU and engaged in energy systems and economy. He is also a member of the board in Energinet.dk and chairman in a committee on biofuels. Read more here
