Senior Research Specialist Kirsten Halsnæs from Risø DTU is going to speak at Folketinget’s public hearing on climate change. On 30 January 2008 Folketinget is holding a hearing on climate change. Senior Research Specialist Kirsten Halsnæs from the UNEP Risø Centre is invited to speak. The hearing also focuses on the proposal to share the burdens that was published by the Commission on 23 January 2008. The Commission’s proposal lays the framework for the EU countries’ negotiations regarding to what extent each EU country should reduce its CO2 emissions.
