Papers, Proceedings and Presentations
The contributed papers shall be of a length of 6-8 pages. The invited papers shall be of a length of 12-20 pages. Detailed instructions for writing the papers will be published on the web-site by 15 March 2008.
The papers shall be submitted to the Risø Organisers at latest by 1 May 2008.
All papers, whether they have oral or poster presentation, will be published in a Proceedings book, which will contain all invited key-note papers and all contributed papers.
The papers will be reviewed and edited for the Proceedings. The book will be printed in August 2008 and will be available at the start of the Symposium on 3 September 2008.
All accepted papers will be presented at the Symposium. There will be no parallel sessions, and the Risø Organisers reserve the right to nominate papers for oral presentation or poster presentation.
A paper will only be accepted for the Proceedings if the paper will be presented by the author, or a well-informed representative, at the Symposium.
The oral presentations will be 40 minutes + 10 minutes for discussion for the invited key-note papers, and 20 minutes + 5 minutes for discussion for the contributed papers.
The equipment for presentations at the Symposium will be:
- Lecture presentations: PowerPoint presentations from the PC in the auditorium (via CD-rom or USB-key), or from the authors´s own lab top PC. Blackboard and overhead projector.
- Poster presentations: Two poster boards of height 1.0 m and width 0.7 m (for each presentation), and equipment for mounting illustrations, text etc.
